These are the songs she regrets years later. Pink admitted she has a “mean song”

Artists record many songs over the years. Some of them admit after years that some songs should never have been created. In one of the interviews, Pink revealed which songs she regrets to this day. Of one of them, few may know that the artist recorded it at all.

Pink was determined from a young age to achieve success on her own terms. After a successful debut with the R&B-style album “Can’t Take Me Home,” she decided to break off her contract with L.A. Reid’s label because she felt that “I didn’t have much say in the making of the album, it wasn’t how I envisioned my career.”

The artist later flaunted a sharp and rebellious image, with which she is sometimes associated to this day. Some time ago, in an interview for the “Los Angeles Times” she admitted that there are songs that she regrets creating after years. Fortunately, these are only two songs.

The singer admitted that the song that should never have been made is “True Love” from 2013. In it, Pink sings about her turbulent 17-year relationship with her husband Carey Hart, from whom she split in 2008 due to his infidelity. However, two years later she decided to give herself a second chance.

Even though I sing about love, it’s a mean song. I know Carey has thick skin, but I owe him a real love song,” she admitted.

In turn, she gave a much lower rating to another song she regrets creating. It’s a song in the style of a pirate ditty, “We’ve Got Scurvy,” from the 2009 album “SpongeBob’s Greatest Hits.” The album was released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the cartoon “SpongeBob SquarePants.”

I wish I had never recorded it. It was a real mistake – she assessed the children’s song years later.

Pink also revealed which songs from her repertoire are her favorites. She named two songs that are among her biggest hits. They are “Get The Party Started,” which was the inaugural single from her second album, M!ssundaztood, and “So What,” which was “a lot of fun to make from start to finish.”
