Madrid became the capital of nostalgia this Saturday with the celebration of the fourth edition of the ‘Love The Twenties 2024’ festival. The event, held at the IFEMA MADRID Fairgrounds, brought together 35,000 millennials in a unique experience that revived the music and atmosphere of the 2000s.
Organized by the music promoter Sharemusic!, the festival recreated the first “millennial city”, a paradise for the generation, offering a larger and more ambitious proposal than ever. With five stages and more than 70 live artists, the event provided 12 hours of non-stop music and fun, combining the magic of the 2000s with modern conveniences.
The Dance stage became the largest nightclub in Madrid, where figures such as Basshunter, Cascada and Safri Duo made the audience vibrate with their iconic songs. Attendees did not stop dancing to the rhythm of Kate Ryan, Dj Sammy, and the duo Jumper Brothers, whose entertainment was one of the highlights of the night. The combination of visual effects and music transported those present to a golden age.
On the Pop – Repsol stage, the audience enjoyed memorable performances by artists such as Alizée, Beth and Alex Ubago, who remembered the anthems that marked a generation. National bands and soloists also left their mark, with energetic performances by groups like Melocos and Jaula de Grillos.
The Playa stage was the meeting point for those who wanted to relive the most unforgettable summers. With hits that never go out of style, artists such as King África, David Civera and Las Ketchup unleashed euphoria among the attendees, while the charisma of Soraya and Patricia Manterola brought a special touch to the festive atmosphere.
For techno lovers, the indoor We Love Techno stage was a real revelation. Big names like Derrick May and Cristian Varela offered intense and vibrant sets that kept the audience moving throughout the night. Misstress Barbara and Dj Russ also stood out for their ability to connect with the audience and create an immersive atmosphere.
‘Love The Twenties 2024’ was not only a music festival, but a true tribute to a decade that marked an entire generation. The impeccable organization, the quality of the performances and the emotional reunion with memories made this edition an unforgettable experience for all those present. A night that, without a doubt, will remain in the memory of all those who were carried away by the magic of the 2000s in Madrid.
