Some time ago, the artist gave an interview to the monthly “Replika”, in which she recalled working on the set of the cult series. She also revealed more details about cooperation with Krzysztof Pankiewicz, a set designer and cameo actor who hid his sexual orientation.
His costume and jewelry are what he wore to the set, not the result of the costume designers’ work. I was so fascinated by Pankiewicz and his wonderful personality that I actually don’t remember what I played there. It was a wonderful, colorful, golden-feathered bird. Although Krzysztof Pankiewicz is mainly associated with his work as a screenwriter, he was also a painter. In turn, his adventure with acting was very short, because he appeared in only two films, but it was thanks to a small episode in “The Forty-Year-Old” that he gained recognition. In the interview, the actress also revealed how Pankiewicz worked on the set of the series.
I couldn’t take my eyes off him. Jurek Gruza gave him a completely free hand on the set. He told him that he would not direct him, that he should move as it came naturally to him and that the camera would follow him. In an interview, Anna Seniuk admitted that she supports the LGBT+ community. “I simply accepted the existence of gays and lesbians, it didn’t impress me,” and she additionally admitted that homosexual men around her were always “exceptionally gallant, elegant, sometimes more polite than heterosexual colleagues.”
