In November 2022, the first season of “Crusade” premiered on Polish Television. However, the story about fierce policemen from the homicide and criminal terror department aroused the greatest interest of viewers only when it was available on Polish Netflix in May this year. Just a month later, TVP announced that filming for the second season of “Crusade” had already been completed, and editing and post-production were finished. What will happen in the next episodes?
“Crusade” returns to TVP
According to the announcements of Telewizja Polska, the plot of the second season will familiarize viewers with the mechanisms of the drug underworld. This time, Commissioner Louisiana (played by Tomasz Schuchardt) and his companion Bronek (Sebastian Dela) will have to solve the mystery of the mysterious murder of a security guard of one of the supermarkets. At the crime scene, the police will discover sixteen kilograms of cocaine. Soon after, they will find a clue that leads to the middle of a fight between drug gangs.
In the next season, the cast of the series will be joined by Zofia Jastrzębska (the actress will play the role of Bronek’s beloved) and Marta Stalmierska, who will play a policewoman cooperating with the main characters. The production will also feature Mirosław Haniszewski, Monika Pikuła and Paulina Gałązka. The premiere date of the second season of “Crusade” is not yet known, although Telewizja Polska announced that the series will soon be broadcast. However, it is not known how long it will take or whether it will be added to Netflix’s offer at all.
