Falk was promoted to sergeant last summer. Among the challenges Falk faced in the leadership course was the Sapper physical fitness test. The test is graded according to Army standards depending on the individual’s age and gender. The minimum passing criteria is 230 points in total, with no less than 70 points in each competition. The Sapper Leader Course was not only a physical challenge for Falk, but also a mental one.
