“Chronicle of Love Accidents” is a psychological drama based on the script and novel by Tadeusz Konwicki of the same title. The film, which is considered one of the director’s best artistic achievements, premiered at the end of November 1986, causing an incredible sensation among both viewers and critics. A galaxy of the biggest stars appeared on the screen, including: Krystyna Zachwatowicz, Gabriela Kownacka and Tadeusz Łomnicki, alongside whom 14-year-old Paulina Młynarska and 18-year-old , who played the main characters, made their debut.

I can only guess that it was some messed up artistic vision of a guy who was probably convinced that since he was important, famous and everyone prayed to him, he was simply allowed to do so.
– she added bitterly. She said that she blamed not only Wajda himself, but also the entire team. Among the several dozen people who were also on the set at that time, no one opposed his vision, forcing her to act out intercourse, which, as she herself emphasized, she had no idea about at the time.

She admitted that to give her greater freedom in front of the camera, she was given various intoxicants, which she mixed with alcohol. She also admitted that she never raised this issue in a conversation with the director, which she still regrets, because she is not sure whether he was aware of the practices used by his crew members. However, this does not change the fact that she still believes that “that day, she was simply mentally raped.”
Moreover, it turned out that the mentioned scene was not the only one during which she had to stand in a negligee in front of the camera. The second one, equally bold, was made with several takes, because he was apparently constantly dissatisfied with the results, and ultimately was not included in the version of the film that was distributed. – We were supposed to run naked into the steppe until we were lost in the horizon. A long run naked… It was terrible, worse than the love scene – she said in an interview, adding that she simply felt humiliated. – April, so cold, and a feeling of humiliation and embarrassment – she said, emphasizing that Wawrzyńczak had similar feelings and was also not thrilled with the idea. However, he treated it only task-wise, and she treated it emotionally. – Something in me broke then, something was damaged – she admitted regretfully.
