Her career began in 1993 when she won a presenter competition. Initially, she prepared a report on the Senate debates, and over time, she was also entrusted with running the morning and afternoon editions of “Wiadomości”. In 2005, she also started appearing in the “Kurier” service on TVP3, and a year later she started working for TVP Info, hosting many other formats.

When Jarosław Kaczyński’s party took power in Poland in 2016, Holecka was appointed host of the main edition of “Wiadomości”. Even then, she was accused of bias and participation in propaganda, and the negative opinions were increasing month by month. She, however, seemed to have no problem with it. At the same time, she ran other magazines, and for her work she received not only fair fees, but also numerous awards and nominations. This was also the case in 2019, when, alongside Dorota Gawryluk, Grzegorz Kajdanowicz, Marta Kielczyk, she fought for the Telekamer statuette in the “Information Presenter” category. However, he doesn’t have the best memories of their awards ceremony.

The event, like all events of this type, gathered many famous personalities from the world of show business. They included not only supporters of TVP in power, but also strong opponents. It could therefore be assumed that sooner or later a not-so-nice incident would occur. This is what happened when the hosts read out the nominees for each category. Every name was followed by thunderous laws, except – then there was complete silence.
In this way, the audience wanted to express their opposition not only to the presenter, but also to the station for which she worked. She herself seemed very embarrassed by this incident, especially since everyone’s eyes were turned towards her. However, she did not have to face it again, because the statuette finally went to Tomasz Wolny. However, the bad taste remained, and Holecka left the gala quite quickly, avoiding journalists’ questions.
