On April 29, 1979, two brothers went missing in Stronie Śląskie, Kłodzko County. The last person to see them was their five-year-old sister, Dorota Palasik. It was Sunday evening when Mrs. Czesława called the children home. The girl didn’t want to go back, but her mother said the boys were older and could stay longer to play on the swings. However, the brothers disappeared.
The disappearance of the Palasik brothers. The boys were playing outside the house and disappeared. A neighbor saw them getting into the car
It’s been 20 to 30 minutes since Dorothy came home. Mrs. Czesława also decided to call her sons, but they were nowhere to be found. Together with her husband Ryszard, she started asking neighbors if they had seen the children, but no one knew anything. The only clue was a neighbor who mentioned that she noticed a car drive up and Andrzej and Mariusz got into it. However, no one took her words seriously because the woman was intellectual.
The boys’ parents went to the police to report the children’s disappearance. The Palasiks had six children, and there was no water in the house, so rumors quickly spread in the town. Mrs. Czesława and Mr. Ryszard heard from the officers that they had probably sold their sons abroad to get money.
What about the case of the Palasik brothers? To this day it is not known what happened to them
One of the hypotheses put forward by the police was that the boys had run away from home. A witness came forward and testified that he saw Andrzej and Mariusz running away from the burning steelworks with matches in their hands. Another witness claimed that he saw them in the company of a man who bought them ice cream. To this day it is not known what happened to the brothers. Ms. Czesława died a few years after their wedding. Currently, Andrzej would be 54 years old, and Mariusz would be 52 years old.
