Kevin from Jonas Brother has been diagnosed with cancer. The musician had to undergo a procedure

Two days ago, Kevin Jonas posted a video on social media in which he announced that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer. As a result, the musician had to undergo surgery to remove a mole that was dangerous to his health.

On Tuesday, Kevin Jonas told fans that he is suffering from a type of skin cancer, basal cell carcinoma. Doctors discovered a rapidly growing mole on the musician’s skin that required surgical removal.

The singer went for the procedure and shared a report from before and after it on Instagram. “Yes, this is a small skin cancer that has started to grow. Now I will have surgery to remove it. So here we go,” he began. He then showed what his skin looked like immediately afterwards, but due to the restrictions introduced on Instagram, he covered the operated area with one of the emoticons. He also appealed to recipients to get checked regularly: “Okay, I’m done… Remember to check your moles, people,” he said as he headed back home.

Kevin Jonas is one of three brothers who have been part of the Jonas Brothers band since 2005. In 2013, the musicians announced the breakup of the band, but a few years later they decided to return to giving concerts and releasing new songs. In 2019, they announced their return to the music scene and the premiere of their new single “Sucker”.

They also planned an international concert tour, The Tour, which covered 27 locations, including Poland. The musicians were supposed to perform in Krakow on May 30, but at the beginning of April they announced the postponement of the concerts. The reason for the change in the schedule was said to be the excess of projects in which the singers are currently involved. The concert in Krakow will take place in the fall on October 16.
