The film by German director Julia von Heinz is based on the novel “Too Many Men” by Lily Brett. The production was shot mostly in Poland, so you can see several local stars on the screen, including Tomasz Włosok and Sanra Drzymalska.

A music journalist from New York, together with her father Edek, a Holocaust survivor, sets off on a journey to learn about her family’s history. They are helped by a Polish taxi driver, Stefan (Zbigniew Zamachowski). Ruth’s goal is to reach the Auschwitz camp.
Ralph Kaminski also appears in the film and sings in one of the scenes. The musician shared photos with the main actors in “Treasure” online.
