In the past, soap operas from South America and one of the most famous soap operas in the world, “The Bold and the Beautiful”, were extremely popular in Poland. Today, TV viewers really like watching Turkish series, which have been broadcast on TVP1 and TVP2 for several years.
On TVP, the holidays will get off to a rocky start. Although many programs will be dropped from the schedule, sports fans are certainly rubbing their hands
Currently, we can follow new episodes of soap operas such as “Forbidden Fruit”, “Golden Boy” and “Heritage”. However, the broadcast of these titles will be discontinued in the near future. The reason is the upcoming two major sporting events that will be shown by TVP. These are the European Football Championship in Germany and the Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
Let us remind you that Euro 2024 starts on June 14 and will last for one month, i.e. until July 14. On this day, the grand final of Euro 2024 will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will start on July 26, 2024 and last until August 11.
Broadcasting of Turkish series will be irregular. You have to check the station’s schedule every day
Due to the transmission of the above-mentioned events that will be broadcast most of the day, most programs from the current schedule will cease to be broadcast for this time, including Turkish series. The changes will start on Monday, June 17, when the latest episodes of “Forbidden Fruit”, “The Golden Boy” and “Hereditary” will not be shown.
The situation is slightly different the next day, because on Tuesday, TVP1’s schedule included new episodes of “The Golden Boy” (episode 201) and “Heritage” (episode 298). In turn, on Wednesday, June 19, no Turkish series will be broadcast again. In return, we will show, among others: Croatia – Albania and Germany – Hungary matches.
