Euskadiko Orkestra will publish a new monographic album by the Bilbao composer Gabriel Erkorekawhich has been published by the Finnish record label Ondine.
Ekaitza, Pisces and Three sonnets for Michelangelo They are Erkoreka’s works recorded by Euskadiko Orkestra, and all three were conceived by Erkoreka for the three soloists who star in them on the album: Asier Polo, Alfonso Gomez and Carlos Mena They registered them in August 2023 in Miramon.
Asier Polo is leading the cello concerto EkaitzaAlfonso Gómez from the piano concerto Pisces and the singer Carlos Mena from Three sonnets for Michelangelo .
The musical direction of this project has been crowned with the work of the Vitorian director Juanjo Menaand the album is released on the market by the Finnish record label Ondine.
