In spring this year, the 15th season of Poland’s “Got Talent” was broadcast on TVN. The program returned after a year’s break with a new jury, i.e. Agnieszka Chyliñska, Julia Wieniawa and Marcin Prokop. The role of show hosts was entrusted to Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak and Jan Pirowski.
The jurors interrupted her performance. Tik Tokerka talks about what happened behind the scenes of “Got Talent”
Just a few days after the final of the 15th edition of the talent show, a recording published by a guitarist from Krakow appeared on social media. The artist, who is followed by 11.5 thousand people on Tik Tok, talked about what her casting for “Got Talent” in 2023 was like. According to Magda Kurdula’s account, she went to the talent show studio at a special invitation. She waited there for many hours for the performance, even though she was instructed to prepare for it early in the morning. “They told me in the morning to get dressed, do my makeup, get ready for the performance and wait until the evening just to see the mocking smiles of the jurors,” Tik Tokerka explained.
When it was finally her turn, the artist went on stage and played the song “Highway to Hell” on the electric guitar. Although the performance of the famous AC/DC hit was supposed to please the audience, the jurors interrupted the performance by pressing the “X” button three times. “During my performance, the audience immediately started clapping, then I hear three clicks, suddenly the background stops, I look at the audience surprised, the audience looks at me surprised… and then the unfounded hate immediately started from the jurors who did not give “not even tell me a word about my performance,” Magda Kordula reported.
According to the artist, the jurors immediately started criticizing her performance, without any arguments. “I was very surprised that such famous and respected people are at such a low level, because if they don’t like something, they have to laugh at someone, insult someone in public, hate someone. It’s so easy for them to play with someone’s feelings and confuse someone’s work with mud or even be responsible for someone’s life,” the guitarist added.
The case was commented on by Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak. The talent show host told Kozaczek.pl that she doubts Tik Tokerka’s words. “I suspect that this “certain tik-toker” really wants to become famous, because I haven’t heard any bigger nonsense. The jury spends several hours at the castings, assessing one performance after another… Even if they really wanted to make fun of someone behind their back, which they honestly believe I doubt it, they wouldn’t have time or space for it,” said the journalist.
We contacted the Discovery group for comment on the video, but by the time the article was published, we had not received a response. If this changes, the article will be updated.
