White shoes look great and match many styles, both sporty and elegant. However, they have one drawback – they get dirty very quickly. This is especially visible on the soles, which are “decorated” with numerous dark spots and yellowing. How to fight it? All you need is a cheap product.

White shoes are the number one choice among many people. We choose this color, especially in summer, because it adds lightness to the styling and at the same time does not attract sunlight, so our feet do not boil in them during hot weather. However, there is one big downside to wearing white shoes. You can clearly see every spot on them from the first time you put them on. As a result, we often leave the house in new shoes that look as if they have already been through a lot. This may sometimes involve dirty looks on the bus or tram, or even comments like: “They’re not ashamed!” or “There’s no soap in the house?” Fortunately, white shoes can be easily cleaned and you don’t need specialized products costing several dozen zlotys.

How to clean white soles? Take one thing from the bathroom

A method for cleaning white shoes recently appeared on the Instagram profile of a cleaning expert. Lux.ula is happy to share its cleaning tips with a wide range of followers. In a recent video, she revealed her method for cleaning white soles. All you need to do is use a product that is often found in our bathrooms, and even if not, you can buy it in any store for just PLN 2-3.

How to clean white soles? The expert revealed that ordinary nail polish remover is enough. Apply it to a cotton pad and simply wipe your soles with it. Dirt dissolves literally in the blink of an eye. If we also want to clean the top, it may mean that we will not be able to put our shoes on for some time, because not every stain can be washed without thoroughly soaking or washing. However, if we take care of the soles themselves, the entire shoe will look more well-groomed. So it’s a great way to quickly refresh yourself, especially when you don’t have much time.

However, people who are allergic to any type of solvents should be careful with this method. The remover can also dissolve the paint. So if we have colorful prints on the sole, it is better to use a different patent. What can you use to clean white soles if not with remover? There were several tips in the comments, including: bathroom cleaning milk, toothpaste, baking soda and dish soap, and even hydrogen peroxide.

To clean white shoes, many people throw them into the washing machine. In some cases this method actually works. However, sometimes we may find that after a long soaking and spinning, we will remove the deconstructed shoes from the drum. This is the easiest way to destroy them and lose the chance to positively consider the complaint. After washing our shoes, we often expose them to the sun to make them dry faster. This is also a big mistake. Such rapid drying can make unsightly yellow streaks will appear on the shoes. It is better to put them in a ventilated but shaded place and put a rolled up paper towel inside. Some they also treat the soles with a magic sponge. However, it is worth knowing that it works on the principle of delicate sandpaper, it does not clean dirt, but removes it along with the rubber layer.
