The Durangoko Azoka Creation Grant will be dedicated to artistic interventions

Durangoko Azoka and the Durango City Council presented this morning the seventh edition of the Creation Grant that the fair awards each year. This year, the 15,000 euro grant will be directed at artistic intervention projects, in the same way as in previous calls it has been directed at literature, music, audiovisuals, video games, performing arts and family shows.
The deadline to submit proposals will end on September 21, and interested parties will have to attach a form, their resume and a portfolio, in addition to the project report, to a message with the address gerediaga@durangokoazoka.eus.
A jury will evaluate all the proposals and choose the winner, which can be seen at the Durangoko Azoka in 2025. As this is a scholarship aimed at young creators, the work presented must be the first or second intervention in their career.
The theme of the project will be “Euskara Jendea”, and the proposals must be suitable to be shown in the Museum of Art and History of Durango or its surroundings.
The winner of the scholarship will be announced at the 59th edition of the Durangoko Azoka.
