Next June 21, Friday, Chillida Leku will celebrate, as usual, its summer solstice party with the participatory show Chillida 100 urte. It is a show of music, dance and poetry in dialogue with the artist’s sculptures, defined between the museum and cultural agents of Hernani under the coordination of the Kukai dance company.
Chillida 100 urte It is under the artistic direction of Jon Maya, choreographer and director of Kukai, and Maite Larburu, Ttartla dantza taldea, Nuta espazioa, theater and dance students from the Biteri cultural house, the Hernani Institute have participated in it. , Hernaniko Bertso Eskola, the Ozenki and Kantuz choirs, Hernaniko Herri Musika Elkartea, Hernani Musika Eskola and the municipal music band.
Before the general show, the public will be able to enjoy short 10-15 minute performances scattered around the museum. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the main show will begin at 8:00 p.m.
1,200 tickets will be on sale for the show. The event is outdoors and the organization invites the public to bring blankets to enjoy the show while seated.
