Sanah is more expensive than Maryla Rodowicz. How much do stars charge for private concerts?

Many stars started their careers by singing to the chop. Later fame doesn’t mean that private performances, at weddings or birthdays, are becoming a thing of the past – only the rates are really changing. We know how much you have to spend to have, for example, Maryla Rodowicz perform at a private event.

Not every headline star has the habit of agreeing to private concerts. As their popularity increases, some artists focus exclusively on mass events and no amount of money will be able to convince them to play at your wedding. However, there is a large group of musicians who treat private events on an equal footing with concerts, e.g. at the stadium – provided, of course, someone can afford to organize them.

Obviously, these are not cheap pleasures. The amounts that need to be spent on a famous singer’s performance at your own event start from several dozen thousand zlotys. And according to the “sky is the limit” principle, they have no upper ceiling. If you have a sufficiently large wallet, you can even organize a performance by, for example, Rihanna at your own wedding, as one of the multimillionaires from India did. One of the most famous stars in the world sang for about 7-8 million dollars. Polish stars do not require such financial outlays, but a lot depends on the final arrangements during negotiations.

According to information available, among others, in the Artists’ Catalog or the Artists’ Price List, organizing a concert of, for example, Maryla Rodowicz costs at least PLN 50-60,000. You have to spend even more, e.g. on a private Sanah concert – here the amounts probably start from PLN 70-80,000. Agnieszka Chyliñska and Edyta Górniak have similar, although slightly lower rates. Justyna Steczkowska, the band Varius Manx, Feel, Stachursky and Sławomir have even smaller amounts, closer to PLN 30-35 thousand. Maja Hyży, Gosia Andrzejewicz, and Czadoman are valued at just under PLN 30,000. The vast majority of stars included in impresario price lists, however, have a “negotiable” price, which can generally mean anything.

The amounts seem large, but it is the price for organizing the entire performance – including the band, technical support, sound system, etc. A small part of this sum goes to the artist himself at the end. Additionally, you should also bear in mind that the negotiated rate does not have to include, for example, accommodation for the star with the band or any special requirements that the famous person will have regarding his or her performance. During the negotiations, you will find out whether additional space will be needed for the employed musicians (e.g. dressing room, rest room, separate bathroom), whether it will be necessary to set up an additional stage, e.g. in front of the building where the wedding will take place. If you are interested in organizing such a private concert, make sure that you are not pressed for any deadlines – setting a date convenient for you and the artist may be, to put it mildly, complicated due to the numerous other obligations of the performers. The further the date, the greater the chances that you will be able to set it together.
