What trees should you not plant near your house? There are a few species you should watch out for

When planting trees near the house, we should take into account the specificity of individual species. If we plant a willow or poplar around the house, we may be exposed to damage to the foundations and sewage system. These trees have strongly developed roots, and their rapid growth may cause damage. Additionally Willow branches break quickly and are brittle, which may pose a threat to parked cars or playing children. If we want to plant them in the garden, let’s do it no closer than 6 meters from the house. Some trees negatively impact your lawn, that’s why when we want lush and green grass, let’s give up planting hornbeam, birch or spruce. They sterilize the soil and significantly absorb water, which causes it to waste quickly.

Birch and similar deciduous species can also cause a lot of confusion in the garden due to falling leaves. They not only affect the aesthetics, but can also lead to clogging of sewage wells or gutters. They cause us a lot of problems, so if you don’t have time for frequent cleaning, give up on them. Walnut is a real beauty of the garden. It produces a substance that harms trees and plants, causing them to die. It is best to plant it away from any crops, in the corner of the plot.
