After the first weekend after its premiere, Marcin Koszałka’s production was among the most frequently watched titles on the entire website.

“White Courage” is a story about love intertwined with the fierce conflict taking place during World War II. The film takes place in the late 1930s in Podhale, where Jędrek Zawrat, a talented mountaineer and a descendant of an outstanding highlander family, leads his very risky life. A man who does not shy away from the dangers of mountain climbing is in love with the beautiful Bronka. However, the main character’s family decides that the woman should marry not Jędrek, but his older brother Maciek. As a result, Jędrek goes to Krakow, where he meets the German scientist and mountaineer Wolfram. He believes in the theory that the highlanders come from the ancient Germanic tribe of the Pragotes. When the war breaks out, Jędrek and Maciej receive an offer of cooperation from the Germans.

The cast of “White Courage” included, among others: Filip Pławiak, Sandra Drzymalska, Jakub Gierszał, Julian Świeżewski, Adam Woronowicz and Wiktoria Gorodecka. The script was created in cooperation between director Marcin Koszałka and Łukasz Maciejewski. The cinematographer of the film is Marcin Polar.
