He wrote about the drama of the residents of the “Rubinkowo” housing estate in Toruń. One of the website’s readers wrote a letter to the editor in which she admitted that her rent had been increased once again. Moreover, the housing conditions in the mentioned housing estate are crying out for vengeance – the portal reports.
This is not the first time that the Toruń housing estate has been in the center of media attention. Already in January 2024, the portal “Nasze Miasto” wrote that residents complained about the insufficient number of parking spaces, poor condition of sidewalks and roads, holes in the surface and garbage in overflowing containers.
These problems still plague them. However, it turns out that the next thing is the fees, which are still rising. – I pay over PLN 800 for a 48-meter apartment, and in a moment they will want even more – a resident of Toruń from Rubinkowo told the journalists of “Fakt”.
Most people living in the estate are families with small children or retirees. According to a resident of Rubinkowo, these are not wealthy people. In an interview with “Fakt”, the woman emphasized that there is no point in looking for conditions here like those of a guarded estate in Warsaw. – We are angry, we feel robbed – she added.
About 2 years ago, the light in front of my staircase didn’t work. Not to mention the constantly broken intercom. Another thing that makes me furious – garbage spilling out of the containers

According to the letter she received from the cooperative, water and sewage fees will also increase, which will result in an increase in rent. “Fees will be introduced in SM Rubinkowo from June 1, 2024.” – it was written in the document that the woman showed to the editorial office. According to the new rate, a cubic meter of water will cost PLN 4.57. Discharging a cubic meter of sewage costs PLN 6.51.
The total fee for the consumption of a cubic meter increases from PLN 10.66 to PLN 11.08 gross – residents learn. Thus, the monthly flat-rate fee increases from PLN 57.60 to PLN 59.83 per person

They will finish us off, the portal’s interlocutor worried. She also noted that although these amounts may seem small, they are a heavy financial burden for her.
