In the publication, he mentioned, among other things, his relationship with Carrie Fisher’s friend, the film’s Leia from the saga.

Blunt and Fisher met in the 1990s through mutual friends and immediately bonded with each other. The singer even moved into the Fisher house in Los Angeles and recorded his first album during his stay at the estate. The artist recalled that a few days before her death, Fisher was found unconscious during a flight from London to Los Angeles. He declared that the night before the flight, his friends spent time together.

Carrie Fisher died after the incident cited by Blunt. She suffered a massive heart attack on board the plane and passed away four days later. The toxicology report showed that a mixture of cocaine, heroin, MDMA and methadone was detected in the actress’s body at the time of death. – The day before her last flight we spent together, she came to my house. She really treated herself and her body badly. This was the time when she got a job on Star Wars again. She was supposed to come back as Princess Leia, Blunt told the Hay Festival audience.

– She really started demanding a lot from herself, she started using drugs again – he added. “They say she died of heart failure, but she took so many drugs that you could have a really good party with them,” Blunt said.
