The filmmaker Alberto Gastesi (The stillness in the storm) is shooting his second feature film these days in Madrid and Euskal Herria, Singulara science fiction thriller about the limits of artificial intelligence and human grief in which EITB participates.
Starring Patricia López Arnaiz (Goya for Anne; Little girl; 20,000 species of bees) and Javier Rey, both actors are accompanied by the young Miguel Iriarte in his film debut.
Diana (López Arnaiz) is a specialist in Artificial Intelligence who travels to her old summer house next to a lake to reunite with Martín, her ex-husband whom she has not seen for twelve years. The initial harmony is broken when Andrea, a young man with a mysterious resemblance to the couple’s deceased son, joins them.
It is planned that Singular will be released during 2025.
