Netflix. Four Polish productions will soon be available on the platform
On Saturday, June 1, the 2022 film “Christening” will appear on Netflix. It is a comedy of manners about Marianna, a devout Catholic, who decides to use a family celebration – the baptism of her youngest grandson – to reconcile her children, who have been quarreling for years. She was unexpectedly prevented from doing so by General Jaruzelski, who declared martial law that day. Starring: Katarzyna Figura, Maciej Musiałowski and Tomasz Schuchardt.
On the same day, Netflix viewers will also be able to watch the film “Ula” about Urszula Dudziak’s tour around the United States and the sequel to the cinema hit “Too big for fairy tales”. The second part of the family production tells the story of a summer trip to the Tatra Mountains, during which Waldek discovers that his father lives in the area and decides to find him. Together with Staszek, they set out to search, while Delfina must keep a secret and hide the truth about the boys’ disappearance.
There will be no shortage of other Polish novelties in the next days of June. For fans of domestic productions, Netflix has also prepared “The Fall” with Maciej Stuhr in the main role. The film tells the story of a family that gathers in the villa of their deceased uncle (Jan Peszek) with the hope of inheriting his fortune. In the final part of Season 3 of “Bridgertons”, Lady Whistledown will once again serve up a juicy portion of fresh gossip. In “A Family Matter”, we will see a romantic story in which Zack Efron and Nicole Kidman will play the main roles. Action cinema fans, in turn, can count on Jessica Alba’s great return in the film “Veteran”, where, as a fearless commando, she confronts a brutal gang, discovering the truth about her father’s death.
