Roksana Węgiel is the “star” of subsequent Ziobrists’ tapes. Tadeusz Rydzyk also in the background

One of the latest recordings from Zbigniew Ziobro’s ministry concerns a concert that was supposed to be financed from the Justice Fund. The event, during which Roksana Węgiel and the Sound’n’Grace band were to perform, was a joint idea of former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro and father Tadeusz Rydzyk. The leaked recording shows that high-ranking former officials did not share the enthusiasm of their superiors and discussed how to prevent the event from being organized, which one of the interlocutors called “wasting money down the drain.”

For several days now, the media have been publishing further “Ziobrists’ tapes”, i.e. recordings recorded by Tomasz Mraz, who was the director of the Justice Fund Department when Zbigniew Ziobro was in charge of the Ministry of Justice. Mraz recorded conversations conducted by the ministry’s management for almost two years.

Ziobro and Rydzyk insisted on attending a concert by Roksana Węgiel and Sound’n’Grace. They wanted to finance it from the Justice Fund

On Saturday, the portal published a recording in which Tomasz Mraz, deputy minister Marcin Romanowski and an unknown monk representing the “Lux Veritatis” foundation by Tadeusz Rydzyk. The gentlemen discuss the organization of a concert by Roksana Wêgiel and the Sound’n’Grace band, which would be a joint initiative of Zbigniew Ziobro and Tadeusz Rydzyk. The event was to be financed from the Justice Fund, which was created to, among other things, help victims of crime.

The content of the recordings shows that the interlocutors were skeptical about the idea. The interlocutors wondered how the Rydzyk foundation, which was planning to organize the concert, could lose the ministerial competition so that it would not arouse suspicion among both Ziobro and the Catholic-national media magnate. “From my perspective, I’m sorry, but this is a waste of money. A concert for PLN 200,000, for Roksana Węgiel, attended by 400 people, would be better to use the money and do something more useful,” says Tomasz Mraz. When asked how to delete an initiative, the official suggests:

In such a case, we are actually presented with an offer containing formal defects. This is the cleanest option, where we get the information that, unfortunately, something went wrong. Only then does someone have to sprinkle their heads with ashes and say, well, we failed, said the former director of the Department of the Justice Fund.

Next, the meeting participants decide how to cleverly withdraw from organizing the concert. “I’m just wondering how to skill this project. What formal mistake could be made” – the clergyman representing Lux Veritatis thinks aloud, to which Tomasz Mraz quickly suggests: “No signature of an authorized person.” The monk then asks who the authorized person is, to which the official replies, probably referring to Tadeusz Rydzyk:

The statute and the offer indicated that there was a sole proprietorship. One-person, so to speak.

However, the Redemptorist is not thrilled with this idea. In the recording, he can be heard asking Deputy Minister Marcin Romanowski to “tell the director that it simply doesn’t make sense.” Despite this, the conversation continues. At one point Romanowski says:

On the other hand, I understand that the minister wants to do such a concert, although I think it is a waste of money. Sometimes when you look at the things that are needed, psychological help, or for children after violence, there is no money for such things, it is simply immoral.

Roksana Węgiel is a practicing Catholic. Her 28-year-old husband took her on rosary dates

According to information from the OKO.press editorial team, the planned concert of Roksana Węgiel and the Sound’n’Grace band did not take place. However, it is worth mentioning that the winner of the first edition of “The Voice Kids” and the 16th edition of Junior Eurovision Song Contest is one of the most popular celebrities in Poland today. Recently, the biggest sensation was her marriage to older Kevin Mglej and her participation in “Dancing with the Stars”, where she reached the finals of the show.

The artist also does not hide her faith. She has always declared herself a Catholic and emphasized that faith was very important to her. Some time ago, a. Węgiel also took part in many TVP projects during the “good change” – both as a vocalist during concerts, a participant in entertainment programs and a presenter. In the past, the young star was also involved in an event promoted by TV Trwam.
