The program was recently moved from the main Polsat channel to TV4. This is a significant decline in reach for the format, which could have had an impact on viewership. Now Miszczak has gone a step further. According to Plotek, the next edition of “Love Island” will not be included in Polsat’s autumn schedule.

The dating show appeared on the air in 2019 and has had nine editions. Miszczak was to confirm that the program still has great potential, but for now the format has exhausted itself and we have to wait for “viewers to miss” the popular show. A similar strategy was adopted when planning new episodes of “Dancing with the Stars”, which clearly paid off and resulted in an increase in viewership.

What’s next for Karolina Gilon?

The host of the program was Karolina Gilon. – Nobody at Polsat can imagine Karolina suddenly disappearing from the show. He is currently in talks about his future at the station, but it is certain that in the fall, despite the absence of “Love Island”, he will not disappear from the vision. There are several ideas and proposals, so there is something to discuss – says Plotka’s informant from Polsat.

There was even a suggestion that the break in recordings for “Love Island” was the perfect moment for Gilon to take part in “Dancing with the Stars” or to try her hand at a Polsat breakfast show. However, a person close to the presenter did not want to reveal her specific plans. In an interview with the portal, she commented: “We’ll see what the future brings.”
