Which is worse: tilapia or panga? Both fish often appear on Polish tables, but few people realize the conditions in which they are bred

The tilapia we can find on store shelves may come from European farms, but it is often imported from Asia, and in that region of the world, breeding conditions leave much to be desired. Fish are fed with antibiotics, hormones and pesticides, and their meat contains a lot of dioxins, i.e. chemical compounds that contribute to the formation of cancer. Even though tilapia is one of the cheapest fish, it is better to give it up and choose domestic fish or fish imported from Europe. If you feel like it, vote in our poll below.
