A few weeks ago, a photo of Krzysztof Ziemiec with a paint roller in his hand circulated on the Internet. Internet users suspected that the presenter took a job as a painter after being fired from Polish Television. The person concerned himself confirmed this information, responding to comments from users of portal – asked the journalist, who admitted in an interview with Wirtualne Media that he was working abroad and planned to return to the country after the May weekend.
Krzysztof Ziemiec opened a YouTube channel
However, the journalist who was dismissed as a result of changes at Telewizja Polska did not abandon his former profession. Following in the footsteps of BartÅ‚omiej Graczak, Krzysztof Ziemiec opened his own YouTube channel. As announced, “Otwarta Konserwa” brings together a group of journalists with similar, conservative views. In an interview with Pressserwis, the former TVP presenter revealed that 6 people are involved in the project, and each of them is a shareholder of the company. The band records materials in a 20-meter studio in Warsaw, which is equipped with two cameras and SLR cameras.
So far, 50 videos have been published on the “Otwarta Konserwa” channel, most of which are conversations with people from the world of politics. One of the recordings also concerns Krzysztof Ziemec’s previous place of employment, i.e. Polish Television. “Was it worth working at TVP?” – this is the title of the mentioned film, which has been viewed 15,000 times so far. “Otwarta Konserwa” also broadcasts live reports from Sejm sessions.
So far, Krzysztof Ziemiec’s channel is subscribed to by only 11.4 thousand Internet users (as of May 22, 2024), but the presenter himself does not lose optimism. “For me, the number of subscribers to the channel is more important than the viewership results, and it already reaches almost 10,000. I hope that within a month we will reach 30,000,” he said in an interview with Pressserwis.
