The Bilbao International Invisible Film Festival ‘Film Sozialak’ will open its thirteenth edition this Thursday, in which more than 500 screenings will be held at 25 venues. 23 fiction tapes, 53 documentaries and five animated films will be seen.
The contest, promoted by Kultura, Communication and Development KCD ONGD, returns “with a cinema committed to sustainability, gender equality, interculturality and human rights”, according to its director, Juan Carlos Vázquez.
In total there will be more than 500 screenings, spread over 25 venues. In addition to the main one in Bilbao, the Invisible Cinema will be in Barakaldo, Elorrio, Erandio, Galdakao, Gernika, Getxo, Iurreta, Leioa, Mungia, Portugalete, Sestao and Vitoria-Gasteiz.
The Festival recovers this year the usual hours of its main headquarters in the Golem Cinemas of Bilbao. The sessions will be at 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
