Potatoes have been a staple of Polish cuisine for centuries. Their versatility means that we can prepare them in countless ways – from puree, through fries, to baked delicacies. Many people cannot imagine dinner without their participation. Do you know what to sprinkle potatoes with to make them crispy?

There are many ways to prepare potatoes. Regardless of whether you are looking for a quick dish for an everyday dinner or an elegant addition to the Christmas menu, they can become a solid base for many recipes. It is worth including them in your diet not only because they are delicious, but also because of the high content of valuable nutrients and vitamins.

What should you sprinkle potatoes with to make them crispy? Add the aromatic ingredient

If you are bored with boiled potatoes or you want to shine at a family party, bake them in the oven. Prepared in this way, they will become a perfect addition to any type of meat or vegetables. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, they will blow your guests away. The addition of parmesan gives them a unique aroma and unique taste. To complete you will need:

  • 2 kg of small potatoes (if you have larger ones, cut them in half)
  • half a stick of butter
  • 150 g finely grated parmesan
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt, pepper, sweet pepper, turmeric and herbes de Provence

Preparation is very simple and takes little time. First, wash the potatoes thoroughly and place them in a large bowl. Then melt the butter in a pot, and when it cools down, add the pressed garlic, half of the Parmesan cheese and spices. Mix everything thoroughly and pour into the potatoes. Shake the bowl until the butter and spices coat each tuber thoroughly. Transfer the vegetables to an ovenproof dish and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan on top. Bake for about 35 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees, top-bottom program.

What goes best with potatoes? Make this brilliant dip

If you want to enhance the taste of baked potatoes even more, make this refreshing dip. Just mix a large cup of natural yogurt with a teaspoon of olive oil, half a teaspoon of lemon juice, salt and pepper. Depending on the flavor you want to achieve, add a bunch of dill or chives to the dip and grate it onto the large green cucumber.
