Paulina Chylewska, after seven years spent at Polsat, returns to TVP. Previously, she spent over 20 years on Polish Television. He deals primarily with sports topics. In the past, she also hosted festival concerts and the breakfast program “Coffee or Tea?”.
Paulina Chylewska got a call about working at Polsat right after “Dancing with the Stars”
– In 2017, I first received an invitation to “Dancing with the Stars”, which was quite a surprise, and the day after I was eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” I got a call about a job interview – recalls the sports journalist. – I must admit that what was happening on Polish Television then started to bother me – said Chylewska. The 2006 volleyball world vice-champion, now a journalist, Łukasz Kadziewicz asked directly if she wanted to work for the regime’s television, to which Chylewska replied even more directly:
I didn’t want to appear on the air after Danuta Holecka.
The reaction of Kadziewicz, who was surprised by this statement, was very expressive. The video with this fragment of the interview, of course, found its way online. In the post, the former volleyball player commented: “he has balls.”
Danuta Holecka was the presenter of the main edition of “Wiadomości” – one of the most frequent hosts of the program since 2016 – and the head of the TVP news service since 2019. During this time, she was repeatedly accused of bias in transmitting information, favoring politicians and the message of the Law and Justice party. In December 2023, at its own request, it terminated the contract with TVP, after the television authorities changed (right after the swearing-in of Donald Tusk’s government). On December 29, she joined Telewizja Republika.

Paulina Chylewska began her professional adventure with television in the local branch of TVP, then became one of the hosts of the youth program “Błażeja’s Rower”, broadcast in the years 1998-2004. Her husband, Marcin Feddek, previously worked at Polsat as a sports commentator. Now both of them are to move to the public broadcaster.
