On the night of May 11-12, fire consumed the Marywilska 44 shopping center in Warsaw. Previously, the facility was not only a commercial space for over 1,400 stores, but also a place where cultural events took place. The gallery located in Białołęka hosted educational exhibitions, a car cinema and concerts of disco polo stars.

I would be happy to play, as long as it does not interfere with our previously scheduled concerts. More than 240 firefighters and 78 fire extinguishing vehicles took part in the firefighting operation of a shopping center in Warsaw’s Białołęka district. The fire spread quickly due to the flammable materials inside. The fire was extinguished until late on Sunday evening. For now, experts cannot get inside the hall: “Experts will be able to start work when it is safe,” said Adam Strąk from the State Fire Service in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl.
