Production started last year. They made a previous selection of songs and invited his wife Susana Guzmán and their children Mario Paolo and Diego Vicente to the recording studio. “When Susana came with the kids to record the choirs it was so cool that later we decided to change the concept of the album and do it Christmas in family and get everyone involved. “The album has versions of Christmas classics and Christmas carols, we choose among the family’s favorites and the interesting thing is also that we have made adaptations of the lyrics, both in English or in Spanish, some to adapt to the present,” he adds.
Sacoto also details that the theme You arrived and I understood Christmas is a production that tells how he lived this time. “He talks about a modern grinch, which in this case would be me and how I learned to enjoy this holiday when I met Susana, there I learned to see Christmas through her eyes and our children. Christmas dinner is my favorite, which is dedicated to my mother and who left this year, after 20 years of fighting cancer and she will not be able to be with us physically during these holidays ”, he says.
