The second semi-final of the competition passed in a tense atmosphere. Even before the performances started, protesters appeared in Malmo. A crowd of people took to the streets to demonstrate their solidarity with Palestine under attack by Israel. Some Eurovision fans do not agree with allowing Israel to take part in the competition due to the situation in the Gaza Strip.

The audience reacted most enthusiastically to the performance of the French representative. Slimane sang “Mon Amour” and made an impression, especially with his a cappella performance. However, the artist did not qualify for the finals. The clear favorite of the semi-finals was the song “The Code” by Nemo. As expected, we will hear the song live again on May 11.
