On average, they attracted 2.29 million viewers, which translated into 21.09% share in the television market. Even though the show lost 3.69% of viewers compared to the previous year (or about 88,000 people), it still remains at the top. This data comes from the Nielsen Audience Measurement analysis, provided by Wirtualne Media. On the main TVN channel, “Fakty” attracted 1.96 million viewers, and on TVN24 BiS – 326.5 thousand.
“7.30” in second place, “Events” in third place
In second place was the “19.30” service, which is relatively TVP, replacing “Wiadomości”. In April, its average audience was 1.48 million people, which is 35.76% less than “Wiadomości” in the same period of the previous year. The program is broadcast on TVP1, TVP Info and TVP Polonia. The decline in market share from 19.46% to 13.33% is also noticeable.

“Teleexpress” off the podium
“Teleexpress” was just behind the podium, with audience decreased by 31.71% compared to the previous year, which means a decrease of 610,000 viewers. In April 2024, the program attracted 1.31 million people (1.02 million on TVP1, 271,000 on TVP Info and 27,000 on TVP Polonia). The market share was 16.98%, while a year earlier it was 23.25%.
“Panorama” with the biggest decline
“Panorama”, broadcast exclusively on TVP2, recorded the largest drop in the ranking, losing as much as 65.04% of viewers (816,000) and reaching an audience of 438,000. and the later one (around 10:30 p.m.) certainly influenced these results, because previously the program was broadcast at 6:00 p.m.
Record growth of the “Dzisiaj” program on Telewizja Republika
The program came in last place “Dzisia” by Telewizja Republika, which recorded a huge increase in viewership by 3,077% (360,000 viewers), reaching 371,000 viewers in April.
Domination of “Facts” among younger audiences
In the 16-49 age group, “Fakty” was also in the lead, with an audience of 739,000 people, which means a decrease of 1.86% compared to the previous year. Second place was taken by “Events” with an audience of 469,000, which is a decrease of 13.91%. Third place went to the “19.30” website with 304,000 viewers, which is a 27.88% decrease compared to “Wiadomości” in April 2023.
“Teleexpress” took fourth place with 232,000 viewers, which means a drop of 21.35%. Fifth place was taken by “Panorama” with 114,000 viewers, which is the largest drop in this age group, amounting to 40.62%. In sixth place was the program “Dzisiaj” from Telewizja Republika, which recorded the largest increase in this group, amounting to 3154%, reaching 60 thousand viewers.
