For several years now, there has been a clear trend towards natural care. Women not only willingly reach for cosmetics with simple ingredients or use the beauty tricks of our grandmothers, but also are inspired by the care of Korean and Japanese women, who are famous for their youthful appearance and perfect, alabaster skin. One of their secrets is rice water.
How to smooth, tighten and brighten your skin? Reach for rice water
Rice is, among others, a source of phytic acid, iron, potassium, vitamin E, niacin and riboflavin. Regularly applying rice water to the face as a tonic improves skin elasticity, tightens and moisturizes it, narrows pores, lightens discolorations and improves the overall skin tone. In addition, it soothes, relieves irritation and redness and calms inflammation. Rice water-based tonics are becoming more and more popular and available in drugstores and online stores. However, you can successfully make it yourself at home for a few zlotys.
– My skin became moisturized, radiant and smooth. Looking in the mirror, I’m shocked that it’s not an expensive beautician’s treatment, but a cheap home-made tonic. I rinse the rice, pour water over it, pour it into a jar and put it in the fridge. I use it in the morning and evening. I don’t buy other toners anymore. I save a lot of money doing this, and the results are amazing, one of my friends told me.

Rice water – a way to look young. How to make it?
Making rice tonic is very simple. It is important to use good quality rice, preferably organic. Just prepare 100 grams of rice, rinse it three times under water, drain it and put it in a bowl. Pour boiled and cooled or mineral water about two centimeters above the level of the rice and leave for about 3-4 hours. When the water becomes cloudy, strain it and pour the liquid into a small bottle. This tonic can be kept in the refrigerator for several days.
