Dozens, if not hundreds, of crawling pests move across flowerbeds and flowerbeds, eating everything they find in their path. You can fight them in many ways. Often, the choice falls on a product that can be purchased in most gardening and construction stores.

Blue snail granules are an effective remedy that allows you to quickly get rid of the problem. Just sprinkle it on the ground and it attracts pests with its color, smell and taste. Once eaten, the poison takes effect and kills the snails. Unfortunately, not only unwanted pests can be poisoned.

The blue snail control product contains a substance called metaldehyde. If it enters the body, it is toxic to humans and animals. The poison has a negative effect on the digestive and nervous systems. The first symptoms can be noticed within 1-3 hours of consumption. The most common signs of poisoning include: vomiting, diarrhea, severe muscle tremors, feelings of anxiety and fear (metaldehyde lowers serotonin levels). Additionally, in animals it is observed, among others: nystagmus, sweating, excessive salivation. In some cases, permanent organ damage and death may occur. There is no effective medicine to control the poisoning.

How to get rid of snails?

Blue snail pellets have been banned in many countries for this very reason. Instead, other products are proposed that do not have such harmful effects when consumed by pets or humans. These include various sprays, repellents and traps. It is also worth considering home remedies for fighting snails. It turns out that beer, for example, works perfectly in this role.
