However, we do not always have the right preparations at hand, and some in the store do not adequately deal with stubborn stains. Fortunately, we have a simple solution that is worth trying. You can make your own laundry detergent. What will you need?

What else besides washing powder? Use ordinary gray soap

Have you run out of washing powder or the one you have simply doesn’t handle the washing? Use ordinary gray soap. It turns out that thanks to its properties it will act as a natural washing agent.

All you need to do is grate the product to obtain small shavings. Then put them in the drawer in the washing machine that you usually use for powder. Set the program, wait the designated time and that’s it. You will quickly notice that the clothes are clean and smell natural.

How to make washing powder? You don’t need many ingredients

You can also make your own washing powder at home, which will work as well as from the store, or even better. What will you need? Prepare 1 cup of borax, 2 cups of gray soap flakes and 1 cup of soda ash. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and place them in a closed container, for example a jar. For one wash, you only need to use one or at most two tablespoons of the product. You will quickly notice that you do not have to spend a lot of money on store-bought detergents, because such products, prepared at home, are much cheaper and very efficient.
