In March, during a meeting of the Polish Radio program council, a motion to dismiss Marek Suski was submitted. The document was submitted by Barbara Zdrojewska, Renata Butryn, Jan Ordyński and Andrzej Różański. At the end of April, a vote on the application took place. We already know the results.
The Polish Radio program board did not dismiss Marek Suski
Only three council members voted for Marek Suski’s dismissal, seven were against. Thus, the motion to dismiss the Law and Justice politician did not obtain a majority and was rejected, and Suski remains the chairman of the program board of Polish Radio.
– We lost the vote, which was predictable, because the PiS majority kept it – says Jan Ordyński. – He still does not recognize the new management of the radio station, he did not want to talk to Paweł Majcher and Juliusz Kaszyński, who were at the meeting – press.pl portal.
Marek Suski was summoned to the prosecutor’s office
As “Gazeta Wyborcza” managed to do, Marek Suski recently received a summons to the prosecutor’s office. “Marek is among the people summoned to the prosecutor’s office in the Pegasus case,” a source from Law and Justice told the newspaper. The information was confirmed by Przemysław Nowak, spokesman for the National Prosecutor’s Office. – Yes, I confirm: Marek Suski is one of 31 people who received a notice of being summoned to a hearing in this case – he announced.
The case concerns an investigation into illegal surveillance of Pegasus. The Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General said that the 31 witnesses summoned to the prosecutor’s office are people for whom there is “certainty” or “a belief bordering on certainty” that they were under illegal surveillance.
