Wiping mirrors every day can be really irritating. It doesn’t take much to leave a fingerprint or make a smudge. If you live with children, you probably know that maintenance is a much bigger challenge. Below you’ll find some great homemade ones that will help you make it last longer.
How to clean mirrors effectively? The best way for money
All you need to do is combine just three ingredients that you probably have at home. Mix one tablespoon of dishwasher rinse aid, two tablespoons of vinegar and half a cup of warm water. Pour the entire mixture into a spray bottle and see how well this liquid works in practice. The above mixture contains everything necessary to clean mirror glass. Vinegar removes grease from the surface, dishwasher rinse aid leaves a protective layer against fingerprints and other typical mirror stains, and water binds the ingredients together. Don’t wait and try it yourself.

Other home remedies worth recommending. The mirrors will sparkle
If you don’t use dishwasher rinse aid at home, there are also alternative methods that are similarly effective. The most popular of them is a mixture of vinegar and water. Just combine a glass of water with 1/3 cup of vinegar. Spray this mixture on the surface of the mirror and then wipe it with a soft cloth, e.g. microfiber. Finally, dry-polish the mirrors with newspaper or, for a better shine, with nylon tights.
Another effective and less obvious trick is to use shaving foam. Take a cloth and clean the mirror with shaving foam. This will create a special protective layer on the surface that will prevent re-evaporation. Remember that foam is not ideal for removing more difficult dirt, but it is great for everyday mirror maintenance. If you feel like it, vote in our poll below.
