13 Basque short films will compete at the 30th FANT Fantastic Film Festival

This Thursday the 13 Basque short films who will compete in the 30th FANT Fantastic Film Festival organized by the Bilbao City Council.
In a press conference held at Azkuna Zentroa, the festival director, Justo Ezenarro, has highlighted the commitment made to local talent, giving it its place in the official section. Thus, the section FANT LABURREAN – EUSKAL FILMAK It will be oriented towards Basque short films.
These are the short films chosen for the festival, four of them in Basque: ‘Betiko gaua’ (Eneko Sagardoy); ‘Betizu buru’ (Kim Maiteny); ‘Rabbit Steps out’ (Pablo Rio); ‘Deadly Draw’ (Nitya Lopez); ‘Europe’ (Ekain Irigoien); ‘Extremely serious’ (Lorenzo Ayuso); ‘Feminancy’ (Uxuri Etxegia); ‘Fate’ (Rubi Rock); ‘Jende arrotza’ (Imanol Ortiz); ‘Nothing at all’ (Gaston Haag); ‘Neither wolves nor lambs’ (Jose Luis Acosta); ‘To bird or not to bird’ (Martín Romero); and ‘Txotxongiloa’ (Sonia Estevez).
The public will be able to see them on Friday, May 3after the inaugural screening at the Campos Elíseos Theater.
The official short film section will screen this year 22 jobs, 13 in the session dedicated to Basque short films and nine in the international short films session. International short films will participate in the Short Fantastic Panorama section.
