Before he started his career on stage, he worked in a construction company and even built ships when he was employed in the design office of the Gdańsk Shipyard. – I became so absorbed in playing that I abandoned it for the uncertain work of a musician – he recalled in an interview a few years ago. Today, together with his beloved wife, he runs an agritourism farm in Otnoga in Kashubia, and also produces… country meats.
Rudi Schuberth and Ma³gorzata, a lawyer and dietitian, have been together since 1983. They got married after 10 years, and a year after the wedding, their daughter, Karolina, was born. – We are a married couple with quite a lot of experience. We met a long time ago. I was 17 and my husband was 21. We got married on the 10th anniversary of our acquaintance – Małgorzata years ago in an interview with “Gala”.

If it were too sweet, we would probably die. We can compromise and let go in matters of life. We think positively and give ourselves joy, he added.
