Jarosław Kuźniar says that Edward Miszczak told him when he was leaving
Jarosław Kuźniar has mentioned many times in recent years the reasons behind his departure from TVN. Most often, he focused on the reasons for disappearing from television. In the podcast “Conversations on full” he said that it was difficult for him to combine work and his passion for traveling:
Until now, it seemed to me that no one cared that I was traveling. I came back wiser, it helped me a lot in the live TV show, it built honesty and credibility. Mine and the station’s. Suddenly it was decided that it could harm TVN24 – he said in an interview with Wojciech Gil.
Now, in an interview for Wyborcza.pl, he recalled how his then boss, Edward Miszczak, reacted to this decision. Over the years of working for TVN24 and TVN, Jarosław Kuźniar has become an inseparable element of the station. Miszczak saw his departure reluctantly:
When I left TVN, my former boss Edward Miszczak kept saying: This is the end, when you leave this door, you are gone. But suddenly it turned out that there was another door. Onet. Then they said that if I leave Onet, it will end, because today it is impossible to be a brand without a brand – said Kuźniar.

Shortly before leaving TVN, Jarosław Kuźniar left TVN24, where he hosted the morning news channel, and moved to “Dzień Dobry TVN”. In an interview with Dziennik.pl, Edward Miszczak publicly advised his subordinate on what he should still work on:
He’s doing great, although sometimes he still thinks he’s a solo presenter. You have to learn to work in a duo and understand that sometimes your friend has to function. That’s why I introduced a rule that from time to time, when a conversation is more difficult, they conduct it one at a time so as not to get in the way of each other. Other than that I think everything is fine. Kuźniar has a certain political temperament, and the main hate that he received is related to this – he explained.
