Luna after two rehearsals before Eurovision. “Tower, horse, explosions!!”

Luna will perform on the Eurovision stage in Malmo next week. She had the opportunity to rehearse her performance twice, and excerpts from the rehearsals were posted on the Internet. How do viewers react and what is Poland preparing for Eurovision?

represents Poland this year at . We will see the singer’s performance singing “The Tower” on the Eurovision stage for the first time next Tuesday during the first semi-final. Luna will have a difficult task, because she is in the middle of the pack and will have to stand out enough for the audience to remember her and… at the same time not to overdo it, although Eurovision madness sometimes pays off.

Eurovision 2024. Luna after stage rehearsals

The Pole has had two stage rehearsals in costumes. Several seconds of recordings from the rehearsals were published on the official Eurovision channels, and international Eurovision experts use them to assess Luna’s chances of reaching the finals of the competition. They pay attention to several things.

“The Tower” in Malmo will repeat the motif known from the song’s music video. There will be a chessboard on the stage floor and large towers on the stage itself. Luna herself will initially be dressed in a furious red latex coat, reminiscent of Lady Gaga’s costumes, but later in the performance the coat will disappear and Luna will present herself to the audience in red and white. She will be accompanied by a small handful of dancers and there will also be some pyrotechnics.

Experts commenting on the fragment of Luna’s performance had no doubts after the first rehearsal – it was a lot, even for Eurovision conditions. The prevailing voices were that Luna’s performance was very “Polish” – “there is little subtlety and understatement in it”, say the editors of WiwiBloggs, who have specialized in commenting on Eurovision for years. After a few days, however, recordings from the second rehearsal appeared on the Internet, showing even more details of the performance. At some point, a huge horse will appear on the stage, which Luna will “ride”, which caused extraordinary enthusiasm among the commentators.

Tower, horse, explosions! We need to watch this again. Bravo, this is beautiful and very clever! Fantastic – they were excited.

And if they didn’t necessarily see Luna in the final after the first attempt, they probably don’t have any worries after the second one. Users of TikTok, which is one of the main communication channels of this year’s competition, have a similar opinion. All recordings from the rehearsals were there, and if the number of views meant a place in the final, . The comments are also impressive, as they suddenly went from (to put it mildly) skeptical to optimistic.

This will be one of Poland’s best performances in history!

Do you remember how you hated her and now “wow, what a slay”…

Hey, honestly, I really like how Luna is dressed and how everything looks.

In short – visually, “The Tower” will be an impressive spectacle that will be remembered by viewers (Eurovision is a show intended exclusively for television) and will stand out even in the middle of the semi-final performances. One thing remains unknown – whether Luna will be able to sing her song the way she sings in the recording. and one may be afraid that Eurovision stage fright, millions of people in front of TV sets and several thousand in front of the stage in Malmo – all this will be too much. We will see how Luna ultimately performs and whether she (and us) will get a place in the Final – we will see next Tuesday.
