The first installment of the super-production “Symbiosis” at Audioteka debuted in 2022. The premiere episode was made available to everyone at no additional charge, and subsequent episodes appeared once a week. These could only be listened to after purchasing an Audioteka Klub subscription. The series created by Krzysztof Komander and Piotr Rogoża can actually be called a radio play.

“Symbiosis” begins in prison. The main character, Janek (played by Bartłomiej Topa), is serving a sentence in a semi-open facility. As part of a resocialization program, he goes to work in a hospice. There she meets Henryk (Marian Opania), a grumpy old man with many secrets. It soon turns out that they have to escape from the police and gangsters from Bydgoszcz, and on their way they meet a number of colorful heroes. These included, among others: the widow of a former mafia boss and a priest in disguise.
The 10 episodes of the first season were warmly received, as evidenced by the reviews published by . However, they pointed out several shortcomings, the most common of which were accusations of excessive swearing.
I liked it… A light crime story in the style of Chmielewska. Marian Opania is fantastic, as is Adam Ferency. It’s a pity that the author overused swear words, which in many places were really unnecessary.

The second version in Audioteka debuted at the end of April 2024. The story begins again in the prison to which Janek returned. He has more and more problems with his fellow prisoners, and what’s worse, he is contacted by his recent opponent, Mocny (Mirosław Zbrojewicz), who makes him “an offer he can’t refuse”. He played the main roles again, supported by Marian Opania and Tomasz Ziętek, known from the previous production. Apart from them, a whole galaxy of stars took part in the series, including: Mirosław Zbrojewicz, Maja Ostaszewska, Janusz Chabior, Marian Dziędziel, Adam Ferency and Michał Piela.
