If someone doesn’t eat meat, vege grill is a great alternative. Plant-based sausages and steaks are a hit on our tables and are perfect for any party.

There are approximately three million vegetarians and vegans in Poland, which means that the food market is constantly expanding its offer for people who do not eat meat. There are a lot of alternatives, so no one is surprised by the presence of veggie sausages, steaks, burgers and skewers.

What are plant-based sausages made of? The choice is wide

Currently, in supermarkets you can find vegekiełbaski, which are perfect for barbecues and their taste perfectly imitates well-seasoned meat products. The most popular are those made from wheat protein, pea protein, oyster mushrooms, tofu, soy, lentils or chickpeas. We can also easily find plant-based black pudding and all kinds of cold meats. Prices are no longer as scary as they were a few years ago, so anyone who cares about the fate of animals and the planet can afford meatless products. All available versions work great on the grill, and are eaten even by those who do not give up eating meat and are skeptical about such options.

it is extremely simple and quick to make. First, prepare the marinade. Mix together three tablespoons of soy sauce, three tablespoons of rapeseed oil and three cloves of garlic pressed through a press. Once the marinade is ready, it’s time to prepare the watermelon. Cut it in half, cut out centimeter-thick slices and squeeze the water out with a paper towel. Spread each piece thoroughly with the marinade, place on an aluminum tray greased with oil and grill for five minutes on each side.
