Tattoos are a field of art and in many cases they are original, beautiful and unique body decoration. There are various styles of tattooing, and people decide to immortalize images on their skin for various reasons: for aesthetic and artistic reasons, they simply want to have a souvenir, a symbol that is important to them and that has some special meaning for them.
Tattoos can also have a therapeutic function. Some people decide to cover scars after surgery, diseases, burns, accidents and amputations with unique tattoos. There are also artists who specialize in working exclusively with such people. Of course, these are just examples, because there can be many reasons. The decision to get a tattoo is an individual choice that every adult can make.
As is the case in literally every area of life, not all decisions of this type have a happy ending. An example is Rose Nicholson, who comes from Manchester, is 32 years old and has 25 tattoos. In an interview with The Sun, he says he “regrets every one of them.” However, she adds that she cannot afford the expensive procedure of removing all the works. She says her “least favorite” tattoo is the one she got on her chest.
Tattoos cover her body. He “hates” every single one of them
She works as an accountant on a daily basis. She started tattooing at the age of 19. That’s when she drew a heart on her chest. Later, she gradually tattooed other parts of her body, such as her arms and hands. The main motifs that covered her skin included: characters from computer games, cartoons, movies (e.g. from “Harry Potter”) and the lyrics of a song of your favorite band. She got her last tattoo at the age of 27.
As she said, when she was 30, she “hated” them all. The 32-year-old would love to have them removed, but she simply doesn’t have the funds for it at the moment.
I still love Harry Potter, but I don’t want it on my skin. I don’t know why I thought it was a good idea
– she confessed. – I don’t like the way it looks on me anymore. (Tattoos – ed.) They don’t match the clothes I want to wear, she added. She explained that what she doesn’t like about the tattoos that cover her body include: “lack of uniformity” and the fact that there had not been much prior design before. – The work is not bad, but these are cartoon characters – she said. – When I turned 30, I realized that I hated my tattoos and I wanted to take them all off,’ she said.
“I can’t wear most dresses”
She also added that she always tries to wear long-sleeved clothes at work so that people won’t see her tattoos. However, her first work, a heart-shaped chest tattoo, was initially supposed to be smaller. – I didn’t want it to be so big, but the tattoo artist talked me into going for it – Rose revealed.
I can’t wear most dresses
– she complained.
“My advice: wait until you’re 30.”
“People look at tattoos and assume I’m interested in going to metal shows or drinking with my friends,” Rose says. She usually doesn’t want to talk about her tattoos, but sometimes people ask her about them directly. – A guy once approached me and asked if he could touch them. That may have been part of the reason I regretted ever making them, she said.
– When you’re young, you don’t care what others think and you don’t want to listen to them, she said. She also added that if she had the opportunity to give someone advice, she would first of all tell them to consult with the tattoo artist about the ideas themselves and think about a way to unify them. “So that they look good together,” she pointed out.
My advice: wait until you’re 30 to get a tattoo to find out who you are as an adult. There is no rush if you still want to get a tattoo
– she said.
