It is also worth using regular buttermilk to scare away moles. The first step is to make small holes in the mole mounds using an old wooden spoon. Then pour a small amount of buttermilk into them. And that’s all. Interestingly, moles cannot stand the smell of this product. Therefore, they will avoid places where they smell such a smell. Another product that may be useful is vinegar. To use this method, dilute it with water in a watering can. Then we pour the solution directly into the mound and backfill the hole. Repeat this treatment every day for several days. However, let’s not flood all the mounds at once. We need to give the moles a chance to escape.
