At the end of “Kropka nad i” Monika Olejnik turned to Kamiński. “I’m waiting!”

Monika Olejnik is perceived by many as a symbol of inquisitive and aggressive journalism. However, TV Republika viewers consider her a “propagandist”. In the last issue of “Kropka nad i” she suddenly turned to former PiS MP Mariusz Kamiñski, who on that day testified before the investigative commission into the visa scandal. She mentioned, among others: about his courage.

Few people remember, but initially “Kropka nad i” was broadcast on the “big” TVN. It was like this from 1997 to 2003, when Monika Olejnik moved to TVP, where she got much better conditions. However, the journalist’s good streak in the public media did not last long and three years later she returned to hosting “Kropka nad i”, but only on TVN24. Throughout this time, virtually all the biggest politicians of the Polish scene have appeared on this program.

It is not Monika Olejnik who is offended at politicians, but they are offended at her. This time she turned to Mariusz Kamiński. “I keep inviting you”

The journalist is known for her inquisitive language and sharp retorts, which makes some people not want to appear on “Kropka nad i” again. In recent years, these have been mainly representatives of the United Right camp, and especially its leading representatives. In Monday’s edition of the program, Monika Olejnik’s guest was MP Paweł Kowali from KO.

It was on this day that Mariusz Kamiński’s hearing took place before the commission of inquiry into the visa scandal, which the presenter decided to mention at the end of the conversation. However, the most interesting words were said during the farewell to the viewers. Then Monika Olejnik suddenly turned to Mariusz Kamiński himself:

Thank you. And I keep inviting Mr. Mariusz Kamiński to ‘Kropka nad i’. Once you had the courage and came… I’m waiting!

There has been constant talk about Mariusz Kamiński since December. What did the former PiS government minister do?

In December 2023, Mariusz Kamiński became the hero of another scandal after he, together with Maciej Wąsik, was sentenced to two years in prison for operational activities during the so-called land scandal. They both ended up behind bars, which was met with great dissatisfaction from the United Right camp and the media supporting them, broadcasting “real Polish news”. They were released only two weeks later, when they were pardoned by President Andrzej Duda.

Kamiński claimed and still believes that his mandate has not been extinguished and after the verdict was announced, he appeared at the Sejm session and took part in votes, which caused a lively reaction from coalition politicians on October 15. Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia expired the mandates of both politicians, and the matter was commented on for a long time. Now Mariusz Kamiński is not leaving the headlines because of the hearing before the investigative committee regarding the visa scandal that occurred when he was the Minister of Interior and Administration.
