A 29-year-old man who was injured during the attack testified that three people joined the group and tried to rob the rapper and his friends. At one point, the 29-year-old heard gunshots and realized he had been shot. Police say that Chris King and his friends fled the scene and separated.
The 32-year-old rapper was found nearby, in a hotel parking lot. The shot artist was immediately taken to hospital, where he died. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by detectives from the local homicide department. So far, the suspected attackers have not been arrested.
