However, this did not stop Davit Chaxalyn from Armenia, who decided to sing at the casting of the timeless legendary artist.

The aspiring singer has already tried his hand at TV appearances several times, but this time he did everything to remain in the viewers’ memories for a long time. On stage, he decided to present an interpretation of the song “Dziwny jest ten przed” from the repertoire, which caused great consternation among both the audience and the jury. – Who? – they asked, surprised, probably hearing such a name for the first time.
When he started singing, everyone in the studio seemed to think he had mixed up the lyrics or was playing a joke on them. Reactions varied, from clearly dissatisfied or sour faces to involuntary laughter, which undoubtedly did not encourage the participant. Despite the unfavorable circumstances, he maintained full seriousness and focus, showing his best side.
The chorus, full of emotion, made a special impression and had the jurors on their feet. At the end, Davit was rewarded with a thunderous standing ovation for his performance, and when giving the final verdict, the jurors lavished compliments on him.
The participant of “The Voice of Ukraine” also chose Niemen’s song for blind auditions. How did she do?
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that participants of foreign entertainment programs have performed Czesław Niemen’s works. Earlier, in 2014, Hasmik Sirojan, of Armenian origin, decided to sing the same song in the program “of Ukraine”.
Her interpretation caused a huge stir and received wide coverage in the media. Although she coped perfectly with the difficult melody line and words, as the Polish language is not the easiest one, in the end only two out of four seats were turned around. Despite this, she got to the next stage of the program, joining Ani Lorak’s team, but was eliminated in the third round of eliminations.
